1st Period
The 2nd game of the Allgeyer, had the Rocks up against another SWOHSHL team and a team that gave the Rocks fits a year ago, Beavercreek Beavers. Determined to continue the physical play of late the Rocks came out the first 6 minutes in a snarly mood, the punishing hits started to wear down Beavercreek and open some lanes. Andy O'Brien sends a pass in the neutral zone to Jordan Edmonds, Edmonds slick move at the blue line allows him to bear down on, Dann, the Beavers net minder, Edmonds hard wrist shot is picked off by Dann's glove but the rebound drops right to a hard charging O'Brien, and he stuffs the puck in the open side, 1-0 Rocks. All the Rocks D are throwing some huge hits in this one and the corners are seemingly under the Rocks control, leading to another hard work corner cycle by Sam Obrien and Anthony Rogers, while they out work the left corner too Dann, the puck frees to Rogers who feeds a sweet pass to an untouched Chris Ridgeway in front of the Beavers net, Ridgway undresses Dann and buries the puck upstairs, 2-0 Rocks. Rocks out shot the Beavers in the first period 11-6
.

2nd Period
This may have been the best period of the year to date for the Rocks, they came out very fired up and the physical play was now present through all 3 lines, leading to some penalties and the Rocks PK was sent to the test. However the Rocks passed with flying colors as on 3 straight penalties they out shot, out worked and came inches from scoring heavy if were not for Dann this game could have been out of hand. Rogers misses a couple of breakaways, Cohagen misses another breakaway, O'Brien and Edmonds get a couple of chances and come up short, but eventually the chances would haunt the Beavers. The Rocks are out chancing the Beavers but a break goes the Beavers way, with 9:05 left a harmless shot is sent in on Alex Rogers, he makes the high blocker save but the puck deflects off another player and ends up laying in an open spot on the ice and a Beavers forward nets the only goal of the game for Beavercreek, spoiling Rogers shutout bid. Anthony Rogers gets his 3rd breakaway of the period and with 54 seconds left the center man makes no mistake placing a backhand on the nifty move upstairs and the Rocks lead 3-1. Rocks out shot the Beavers
12-3.

3rd Period
Coffman keeps the physical play going which coughs up a loose puck in the neutral zone and Rogers would pounce again, taking the puck past a Beavers d-man, the hard low shot is stopped by Dann but the rebound is kicked right back to Rogers and quickly the Rocks go up 4-1 as Rogers buries another. Minutes later the Rocks Jimmy Wall, sends a great pass from his own zone thru the neutral zone to Anthony Rogers, who is sent all alone again on Dann, he beats Dann clean this time and the Rocks are up 5-1, for Rogers a natural hat trick on 3 straight goals. Rogers was not quite done with his night and again Wall makes a great play at the blue line feeds another great pass to a wide open Rogers and the Senior scorer makes no mistake scoring his 4th straight, 6-1 Rocks. Rocks out shoot the Beavers 12-4 in the 3rd and 35-13 overall.

Rocks Highlights:
The Rocks physical play without a doubt was hard to ignore, for the first time in several seasons they dominated the game based on an attacking physical game, Minardo, Priest, Cohagen, Hoover and Anderson were buzz saws all night. The d-men hit everything that came close to the Rocks blue line holding the Beavers to 13 shots and most from along way out. More notable was the balanced play of all 3 lines the hard work and puck movement was outstanding.
Next up, game 3 of the Allgeyer vs Maumee Panthers, Saturday afternoon, 4:00 pm, Dublin Chiller.
